Halloween 2012

Halloween was so much fun this year.  It was the first year Bryce was able to dress up because last year we were living in Spain and they don't celebrate Halloween there.  This year he was Elmo.  Bryan and I decided on that costume only because EVERY MORNING the first thing that Bryce says is, "Elmo!" (There's a little YouTube video of Elmo that he loves, and he requests to watch it at least 30 times a day, no joke!)  Saturday before Halloween we had an activity at our church called Trunk-or-Treat and Bryce got to be Elmo and go up to all the trunks of the cars to get candy.  It was so cute to see him do this.  He didn't really understand the process but I was impressed that he kept his Elmo head on the whole time.  Halloween morning there was an activity in our downtown and tons and tons of kids came with their parents and went trick-or-treating at all the stores and businesses there.  We took Bryce and went to most of the stores, but his favorite thing was to pass out the candy at my parents flower shop.  Halloween night we just went around our little neighborhood to get candy.  Bryce had so much fun and loved ringing all the doorbells.  I just love our little Elmo!  The kid is such a character!

I love this kid!!!

Pumpkin Patch & Petting Zoo....

We took Bryce to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday and there was a cute little Petting Zoo there also.  He wasn't too thrilled about the animals.  He wanted nothing to do with them and just wanted to watch them.  He got close up to them a few times, but it would be for a split second and then he would run back to either Bryan or me.  It was fun to watch him with the animals though.  He also got to go on a horse, but that lasted for 10 seconds (he started crying his head off).  He was happy at the end of the little trip.  That's where he got to pick out any pumpkin he wanted.....and of course he picked the smallest one out of the whole entire Pumpkin Patch!

Some of the animals would come up right behind him and he would have no idea
